Spiritual practice

Habitus

Habitus is built for ordinary spiritual formation. Open the day with Scripture. Sit with a short reflection. Follow a reading plan. When you are ready, pray an examination. The app can use AI where it serves the practice; it never replaces prayer, a church, or a real conversation.

A lamp, not a scorecard

Examination was never meant to be an interrogation. Habitus is a quiet place for grace, then growth: Scripture in the morning, a short reflection, a reading plan, and — when you are ready — the old examinations. A lamp shows the path. It does not tally debts.

Ancient rhythms, ordinary days

Sit with the day. Follow the Word. Pray an examen, a gratitude list, or the night office when the house is quiet. The point is not a streak. The point is to keep returning.

AI-capable, still pastoral

Where a careful use of AI can serve Scripture, reflection, or a question you bring to the day, Habitus can meet you there. It is not a replacement for prayer, a pastor, or the people who know your name.

Fruit of the work

Plus is still a product first: the full disciplines, offered without theater. Significant profits from Habitus, and from Unity Bridge's other apps, support Day One Foundation — helping people get sober, stay sober, and rebuild their families. This is part of our ministry to lead people to Christ.
